A little journey back to my (small) modding roots.
Dat Witcher modding is more time consuming than I thought it would be. But once you know how to do it, it should work a bit faster. But the modding point definitely goes to Bethesda…
If you want to try it yourself I definitely recommend the video tutorial from Gopher.

UPDATE: added a modding playlist with another helpful tool called modkitchen
Now I just need to play more and find out which pictures there are available to hang on the wall. Unfortunately the one from the maingame is already sold and the Olgierd one from HoS doesn’t work for me.
Reblog because I added a link if you want this mod. The picture of Geralt which is painted in one B&W quest is exchanged with my version you see here. If I did everything right every single version of this picture was changed. If I did it wrong only one version is changed (Geralt standing heroic without griffin). I can’t be bothered to test it for every version so I leave that to you.
I might do some more changes to other pictures but I need to search a bit through the game files first.
The inventory icon is not changed and I also don’t plan to change the icons of the paintings as I don’t care enough to have this little detail.
