Busy week so far, so I wasn’t able to dig for WIP shots and post em all as planned.

I read a lot from others that they are going to delete all their nsfw posts.
This is not really necessary. If you read the staff post from dumbler you will see that existing adult posts will be set to private. They won’t be subject for a possible ban imo. So you can leave everything as it is.
If it works as I think it works you can still reach the posts with the link of the specific post. So followers should still reach some posts if they save the link beforehand. Maybe you can even give out some links if people ask you about stuff you already posted.
This is what I understand but let’s see what happens on 17th.

I just want to take some time to thank all of my followers here on tumblr.
I don’t have as much followers as some others but still more than I have ever expected. I know that like 30% of these might be bots and another 30% might be inactive users which just never unfollowed but it is still a high number for me and I was quite close to 5K in total.
In the beginning I usually told to myself that I don’t care about the follower number and I just do my thing. I never and still don’t see myself as an “artist”. The term “creator” would be ok but not “artist”. This just sounds strange compared to others with real big talent. To consider myself as an artist, I would have needed much more time and effort to really get better at what I’m doing. But I honestly was ok with being mediocre in this and some small positive steps which I made were enough. I have no job in the creative scene and can’t use the things I learn with 3D software in my future life (at least for what I have planned so far), so for me this was more like one of several hobbies to relieve some stress. More than once I was close to stop this hobby and use the time for other things which interest me as well. But some positive feedback and an slowly but steady increase of followers always motivated me to come back and do some more. Sometimes it took a few weeks, sometimes a few months. So in the end the number and therefore YOU followers were important and mattered.
Still it was also important to use my time effectively to get some ok looking results quite fast. Ideal for this was XPS in the beginning and SFM later. I also did some mods for older TR games, Skyrim and Fallout 3. Some of them you will see in my oldies posts. And for sure one or two mods for Witcher 3 for which I also got some help here on tumblr (see special thanks later).
With some game mods it was usually easier to get good looking results because ingame engines are superior compared to XPS or SFM. But depending on the game you are not that flexible regarding posing.
Because of some of above mentioned reasons I will not move to Blender or other 3D software which takes too long to understand and learn and need too much time to render pictures. I might be around some longer for sure but I don’t know for how long especially because SFM is dying as well and there is nothing similar on the horizon. This sounds like a Goodbye post but it is not. Just another little Pre-Adult-Nuke on Tumblr post of mine.
Again thanks to all followers and people who wrote some feedback to me or entered my competitions back when I was more active.
I will for sure forget some people but very special thanks to the following guys and gals for additional help and support being it porting models, providing work for mods, reblogging or general stuff.

Friendly advice: don’t put money into Cumblr until they’ve shown design sketches or better: a working proof of concept.
The pitch is very light on details regarding implementation. The people running the campaign are anonymous. Their GoFundMe page has flexible funding, meaning they get all the money people donate, regardless of whether or not they make their goal. To me, that feels like a scam.
Their current site is barebones.(read: off-the-shelf site template) If there were people with project management, design or programming talent on board for this project, you could do a lot better than “it’s going to be like Tumblr for adult content” - either they have no plan at all, or will only start explaining it once they make the goal; which seems kind of sketchy, seeing as they set it to flexible funding.
And yet, 73 people have dumped $1,479 into that project.
Someone is putting the cart before the horse. As far as we can tell, there is no plan. There is an idea. There is a name. There is a domain name. There’s a logo that’s literally the name of the site in one ofthedefault Windows fonts. (Cambria) People should be super fucking skeptic about this.
But I get it. Now that everyone is panicking and scrambling to get away from Tumblr, people are willing to try anything because none of the alternatives fit for them. But that’s no reason to dump money into a crowdfunding project that is, as of right now, nothing more than a name.
Please ask whoever is running this Cumblr project to either share their plans, or give up this scam.
